This course is designed for learners at B2–C1 level who want to improve their spoken English through the discussion of films and books. The focus alternates weekly: one week a selected film is discussed, the following week a book or agreed text excerpts. Participants practice expressing opinions in a nuanced way, analyzing themes and characters, and responding fluently and appropriately to different viewpoints. Preparation takes place outside of class by watching the films or reading the texts, while the course itself focuses on structured discussion and vocabulary expansion. By the end of the course, participants will be able to discuss complex content confidently, fluently, and with linguistic nuance in English.
